LRU Students, are you ready for Google Apps?
We think you will be happy with the new system but there are a few details and dates you need to know.
We encourage you to explore all the Google Apps. There are YouTube videos and other documents available on the web that can assist you in learning how to use all the various capabilities of Google Apps.
Visit http://edutraining.googleapps.com/ for detailed instructions on using Google Apps.

The new email address for each student will be formatted as: firstname.lastname@mymail.lru.edu
(There will be some exceptions for duplicate names.)
*Remember, the first name is the official first name we have on record for you.
Important Dates to Remember
· August 21st – Communications will continue to go to your OLD email through this date
· August 22nd - Official school communications will begin going to the NEW email
· September 1st - The OLD email system will be disabled (students.lru.edu)
· Through December 31st – You will be able to access the OLD email system through this date (using previous login information)
How to Login to LRU Google Apps:
Step 1: Open your favorite browser and point it to http://students.mymail.lru.edu
Step 2: Username: firstname.lastname (Do Not add mymail.lru.edu to user name when logging in)
Password: lutherrice
Step 3: Follow the on screen instructions to accept the terms and conditions
Be sure to change the password after you login initially. In most cases you will be forced to change it automatically. If for some reason you are not, click on the icon shaped like a "gear"— it should be on the right side of your screen.
