MBS Direct Book Services
Luther Rice utilizes MBSDirect for all textbook services for students. To locate the books required for a course, follow directions below.
How to Order Books through MBSDirect
- Click on the ”Enter Your Virtual Bookstore” box below or on the link titled "MBS Direct" located on the left menu.
- Click on “Order my books”.
- Choose the proper academic "Term" from the drop-down menu.
- Check the box for the course type (Module, On-campus, Online) and click continue.
- Choose your course(s) by checking the box to the left of the course(s) and clicking on “Submit Course ID Selection(s)” at the bottom of the page.
- Select the condition (new or used) of the book(s) and click on “Add Items to Cart”.
- NOTE: The next page lists other optional books, you are not required to purchase these books for your course. Click on "Add Items to Cart" at the bottom of the page.
- Review your order and click on “Proceed to Checkout”.
- New Customers will enter an email address and Returning users will login and click “Continue”.
- Enter the Billing and Shipping information.
- Choose your preferred shipping service, review your order, and click on “Finalize Order”. Your books have been ordered.
NOTE: Books are available 30 days prior to the semester start date.
If you need to contact MBSDirect regarding your text book purchases you may call 1-800-325-3252. Books may be ordered by phone or through the website at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/lrs.htm.
LRSU Book Trading Tool
The book posting tool allows students to post books and contact other students about possible books for sale. This tool is a free service provided by the institution, where students can post books for sale and/or purchase. Materials sold on the Book Trading site provided by Luther Rice Seminary and University are to be textbooks from LRSU classes only.
LRSU Apparel
Luther Rice Seminary and University Book Services is pleased to announce the launch of the LRSU apparel website. We have heard your requests, and now you can purchase LRSU paraphernalia online.
